The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RFQ) will prepare you for working in the adult education sector. It will introduce you to the roles and responsibilities of a tutor, planning lessons and schemes of work, and examine the use of assessment in a group setting. It is the perfect qualification for professionals who are looking to change careers or develop their CV.

Although no formal qualifications are required upon entry, all trainee teachers joining this qualification programme will undertake an initial assessment of skills in English, mathematics and ICT.

Learners will be required to complete a portfolio of evidence.  This qualification also requires each learner to complete a microteaching session, which is observed and assessed by a member of staff.
